BLIK is a mobile payment system that enables quick, convenient, and secure transactions both in stores and online, without the need for a physical card or wallet. To use BLIK, only a mobile phone with internet access and a banking app is required. A unique 6-digit code generated in the user’s banking app allows seamless transactions across platforms, enhancing both ease of use and security.
BLIK is owned and operated by Polski Standard Płatności, a consortium of major Polish banks: Alior Bank, Bank Millennium, ING Bank Śląski, mBank, PKO Bank Polski, and Santander Bank Polska.

The system continues to expand its range of services. One of the latest innovations is BLIK Pay Later, a deferred payment service allowing users to make purchases and pay for them at a later date. Additionally, there are plans to introduce recurring payments, which will simplify the process of automating transactions for subscriptions, bills, and other services.
BLIK is also expanding its presence beyond Poland, now offering services in Slovakia, where users can make payments in various online stores, including Hebe, Muziker, CCC, Tescoma, and Tennis Zone. Moreover, BLIK Romania has received authorisation from the National Bank of Romania (BNR) to operate in Romania, allowing Romanian users to soon benefit from BLIK's secure and convenient payment solutions.
