DANA is the most-used digital wallet in Indonesia. It works by converting the consumer’s cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) from their digital wallet directly into DANA, which is then sent to the merchant’s bank account.
Merchants can accept DANA as a payment method by adding the DANA code snippet to any online store or website. Once added, customers will be able to pay with DANA via their desktop or mobile device when they're ready to check out. The money will automatically be transferred from the customer's wallet into your wallet upon completion of the transaction.
DANA is accepted anywhere that accepts digital payments such as PayPal, Stripe, Square (Cash App), etc. You can accept payments on all devices including desktop computers, mobile phones and tablets (Android/iOS).
The consumer uses their phone or computer to create an account with DANA, then adds funds to their account by purchasing DANA through an exchange like Coinbase or Gemini. The consumer can then use their account to pay for goods and services at merchants who accept DANA as payment.
When a customer makes a purchase using DANA, the merchant will receive payment for that purchase directly from DANA itself—not from any third party or individual user. This means that merchants don't have to worry about getting paid for their services by clients who may not pay them back in full or on time.
